New ward

In July 2022, the Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust was awarded £14 million from the national Elective Recovery Fund to build an additional inpatient ward, with national business case approval received in November 2022.

Project update

Since the last public update in August 2020, the development team have been busy undertaking feasibility studies to help refine proposals. Earlier in 2021, the project also began formally looking for education and skills partners to help plan other elements of the development.
